The table below shows you that the air and water temperatures are ideal for enjoying the sun and sea all year round.
PREVAILING WINDS
The geographical and topographical characteristics of the Costa Brava mean than, according to the period of the year, there are prevailing winds which affect the various sections of the coast in different ways. Summer sea breezes are common to all of the coast and particularly notable in the bay of Roses. The famous tramuntana (north wind) mainly affects the north, where it can blow hard offshore, although the rugged profile of the coast always offers sheltered corners, The gregal is another northerly wind that can blow with very variable intensities in closely adjoining sectors, the west winds off the land, which are common at night after a sea breeze, are gentle, making anchorages in the fines coves very pleasant.
